About the book:
Backed by the history of Bicol cuisine, this 280 page book is a compilation of Bicol recipes gathered and experimented by Neria Nidea Soliman, a gourmet born in the province of Albay—home to the majestic Mayon Volcano.
This is the first ever extensive collection of Bicol recipes found in one cookbook resulting from the author’s more than a decade of work visiting Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Masbate.
The recipes are grouped into fiesta dishes, everyday dishes, merienda or snacks and desserts including a number of food inventions and drink concoctions by the author herself.
